How do I clean the matte black finish?

It’s easy. Simply wipe the shelf down with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap occasionally to remove soap scum. Avoid using abrasive sponges or strong acidic cleaners (like descalers) on the matte finish to preserve its smooth, elegant texture.

Will the shelf rust if it gets scratched?

No. Unlike chrome-plated iron which rusts as soon as the plating is scratched, our shelves are made of solid stainless steel all the way through. Even if you scratch the surface, the metal underneath is still rust-resistant stainless steel.
